About us

Olton Grange Residential Home

Olton Grange is a registered Charity formed in 1964 occupying a 19th century building. It is a Residential Home registered with Solihull MBC. A not for profit organisation it is managed by a committee which consists of local dedicated volunteers who bring a good cross section of expertise to their role.

All care staff within the home are appropriately qualified to deliver the highest standards of care. A continuous staff training programme is implemented to ensure that these high standards are maintained in line with the latest developments in care practices.

"Here our ethos is good healthy nutritous and traditional food. All of our meals are cooked in our own friendly environment using local suppliers and local produce where ever possible Our kitchen is regularly inspected by external bodies and we have our own internal audit system to ensure that standards are maintained."
Sarah, Cook since Summer 2000.

We are regularly inspected by The Care Quality Commission Inspectors and currently have a good rating, a copy of the report can be found at www.cqc.org.uk . We were inspected by Birmingham City Council for Quality Assurance and obtained a 98.3% score for which they still award us a premium payment.
